Lextrus Real Estate ("Lextrus", "we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation 2016/679 — "GDPR") and the Cyprus Law 125(I)/2018 on the Protection of Natural Persons with regard to the Processing of Personal Data.

1. Data controller

2. Personal data we collect

  • Contact details you submit through forms or our AI concierge (name, surname, email, phone).
  • Account data if you register (email, hashed password, preferences).
  • Property enquiries and saved listings.
  • Usage data (pages viewed, device, approximate location) via essential and optional cookies — see our cookie policy.

3. Why we process your data (lawful bases)

  • Consent — newsletter sign-ups, optional analytics cookies, marketing.
  • Contract / pre-contract — handling property enquiries and viewings.
  • Legal obligation — anti-money-laundering checks, tax records.
  • Legitimate interest — site security, fraud prevention, improving our service.

4. How long we keep it

Lead enquiries: up to 24 months from last contact. Client transaction records: as required by Cypriot AML and tax law (currently 5 years). Marketing data: until you withdraw consent.

5. Sharing your data

We only share data with vetted processors that help us run the site (hosting, email, analytics) and with regulated parties when legally required (banks, notaries, tax authorities). We do not sell personal data.

6. International transfers

Some processors are based outside the EEA. Where this is the case, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Your GDPR rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy)

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, encrypted databases at rest) and restrict access to personal data to authorised staff.
